I have been teaching for 8 years all together and I have been here at St. John’s for the last three years. I taught my first two years in third grade and this is my first year in second grade. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a Kindergarten Minor and a teaching certificate for K-6. I went in into to teaching for the enjoyment that children bring to my life. Children learn in many different ways and I give them those ways to grow and develop through the second grade curriculum. Students work on lessons that are designed for their academic level to go along with the state standards. I am also able to bring Jesus and God into the classroom to help my students grow morally and spiritually.
